Hi new here, have a weather loach that has slowly turned pink and has pink eyes, is he an albino and is he rare

Welcome!
Do you have a picture? It sounds like he is probably albino, but I wouldn't say albinos are rare.

Hope this helps to identify, Wolfbear

Hello, they are golden dojo loaches(weather loach). I have 2 females(round pectoral fins)that are about 7".
You may want to feed them boiled deshelled peas & raw cucumber once in a while to help w/swimming issues(prone to constipation because of body shape). Can live 8-10yrs. Temp 62-72° in kept in higher temps. will cut life span in half. Hope this helps!20190326_173107.jpg20181125_062008.jpg20190305_173132.jpg

I d o give them cucumber about once a month and they have dried tubifex and freeze dried dafni thanks x and are in a cold freshwater tank

I usually drop a piece in about 2 x wkly. Noticed they were having problems when expelling waste(spasms & tail floating). A big plus is goldies love it too.
Going to up grade to sand in couple mo. I've read they love to hide, play in it & add 1 or 2 more(3+recommend). Hope this helps!
