My brother found these at the beach(I know its not a good idea to put things in a tank from wild beaches) I put them in my tank cause he wouldnt stop bugging me about them. What are they? What do they eat? And are they safe for my aquarium set up? Here are pics.

The yellow erected spikes remind me of a spiny box puffer. The pic is very blurry though.

I did some searching about it...there is info out there about spiny puffers coming in yellows, greens, and the rare blue. But there isn't anything showing something puffers THAT yellow...

I think they look more yellow since the erected spikes are clumped together. As they get bigger, the spikes will spread out. The yellow spikes are very rare though. I have not seen blue before except for an all blue porcupine.

But its hard to determine what fish it is judging by the picture.

Best pics I could get of him. One of them got sucked into the filter. The current one has survived a few time in the filter. I'm trying to get a screen to put over it.

Be careful with zip ties as alot of them use a piece of metal to hold tight which will corrode and possibly cause problems.

Awesomeness

So nobody knows what type of puffer they are
