What fish are these?

picked these(2) fish up from a friend who didnt want them anymore. i put them in my planted 5.5 gallon with a sparkling gourami.

do they get big? if so i can put them in my 55 gallon community tank.

They are about an inch and half long. That as big as they get?

Should I relocate them to the 55?

I've tried keeping them on 2 different occasions no luck. Don't appear to be very hardy ime. Beautiful fish though. Hide you have better luck!

They look like slightly rough psuedomugil gertrudae. They don't get large (~2"), but they do need more room than a 5G.
