what happened to my cycle :(

i am 3.5 weeks into my fishless cycle..
so normally this is what my reading have been (api master kit)
pH 8-8.2
amm-0-.25
nitrite 5
nitrate 10-20
friday pH starts to get around 7.4-7.6, I do a PWC on sat. added 12 new plants, dosed with prime, and put flourish & excel in for plants a
dosed tank up to 4ppm ammonia
yesterday and today my
pH is now8.4.. BRIGHT BRIGHT purple
ammonia-o
nitrite-0
nitrate-0
hope someone can help me as to what is going on!!

Im going to do a WC and should i retest today or tomorrow, and should i redose to 4ppm or maybe just 2ppm?

I think your plants are eating very well. Redose it to 4ppm and check where you are at in 24hrs.

well pH seems back to normal.. far left is pH of tap water
