i had this white sponge high up on the rocks before i bought my new light(260w pc) when i put the light up i didnt think to move the sponge down. within a few hours of being up there he changed color to this weird green and developed some light colored areas. since then i moved him to the sand in front of a powerhead(not getting blasted but getting current) and beneath a rock ledge so does not get direct light. is he dead? his shape is still the same , nothing is peeling away or anything(do they do that?).thanks 8O

p.s. i have a pix but it's too big to attach, is there some way to shrink them?

Light acclimation is very important as well as acclimation to water parameters that you normally do when you accimate something to your tank. You may have just stressed it. Place it in a quiet area of the tank that gets some flow and light and let it be. Should bounce back.
