What is it

Anyone have an Idea of what creature this is.It is coming out of a dime size hole in the live rock.it looks sorta like a net it floats out to catch stuff.look right above the rock.it is catching stuff since every once in awhile a fish will eat something out of it.

If there is a net coming out to get stuff then most likely it is a feather duster. Can you see if it is coming out of a tube? The pics are too small for my old eyes to get a good look. They are good for the tank.

No not feather duster.It sends like a long sticky string out a few inches long and let's it float in the current.

Yea, that isn't a feather duster then. Sorry, can't help you with that but it sounds familiar...

Maybe a vermitide snail they send out webs then bring them in i believe
