What is this?

I have a new tank that is freshly cycled. I just have a coral banded shrimp in the tank thus far. Lately I've been noticing these little white things all over the glass they almost look like starfish. They have a circular body with squiggly little arms. I would take a picture, however they are too small to capture. I understand I am being vague but does anyone have any idea what they could possibly be?

Could be hydroids.

They are hydroids..they will bloom in a new tank and after a few weeks dissapear to normal numbers which will only be a few visible ones normally

Alright cool, I was hoping they were coralline algae starting to bloom lol.
