What is this?

Found this gray spherical object on a Java Fern leaf this morning. Is it an egg?

Stocking:

6 panda corys (gender uncertain)
8 forktail rainbowfish (2 m: 6 f)
1 cardinal tetra
1 (male, I think) honey gourami

It's an egg. Could be from the Rainbows or the Pandas. Grey is not a typical color for fish eggs so if it turns white, that means it is dead. Possibly wasn't fertilized or the water conditions are not right for development.
