I have a marineland reef ready 20-24" adjustable to fit 5-15g LED light- 6 white, 3 blue and I'm probably going to grab an actinic secondary t12 once I make this craigslist deal. My tank is a 10g nano reef
I have a 60" 6 bulb T5 HO Sunlight Supply Tek T5 HO fixture. I think LEDs might have been the cheaper/better option. This is a great brand though, and I need to move the lights up b/c it seems like it's too much. I have a 70 gallon tank.
I run 2 Ho aquatic-life T-5 fixtures
2 10kwhite daylights 2 actnic blues
along with a 8 bulb micro-sun ho ultra double blue led fixture
the leds really make the corals pop
for a small led light this thing rocks
not cheap though was $65.
and the coral seem to respond to it growth wise
I really appreciate the input! Its interesting to see what fixtures everyone is using.
I was looking at getting the 120w taotronics to light a 20g. I'm thinking that might be too much light. That being said your info here is a great help.
