My water parameters are all good but some of my fish seem to have started to get finrot and I have noticed the guppies rub themselves on the substrate occasionally - they haven't done this before. Could it be early signs of ich?

I have 32 small fish in a 180 litre tank so I don't think it's overcrowded.

I read I should turn the temperature up to 30 degrees to kill it. I don't want to lose any fish. What should I do?

turn temp up and add salt if the gups can handel it. theres a menber on here named shay send her a pm she can help you a lot

Also if this doesn't work go to your local walnart ( if you have one) and get an ich treatment. That is what I had to do.

It's called quICK Cure fast relief for ick and protozoan parasites. And all but one survived because that one was really bad and I didn't learn what it was till it was to late for him but everyone else did live hope this helps.
