What to do about this big empty space?

It's a 30 gallon tank (25" x 15" x 19") I knew I should've bought a wider, shorter tank. I don't know what to do with all that vertical space.

My tank is ugly, help me fill that upper space around the top left corner please. Thanks.

Once your plants grow out it should look better. The anacharis and cabomba will grow very tall, and make a "forest" of sorts.

Very nice tank by the way.
 
Until the plants grow, I would just stick a medium thickness branch (or two) diagonally across the tank from lower corner to higher corner. You can probably find a branch outside your house that would work well. Just soak in a bucket and then let air dry in sun.
