I I have a 24 gallon aquapod with the metal halide light that came with it, an aquac remora protein skimmer, some sort of heater, a hydor koralia 425 gph power head, and an oceanic mini uv sterilizer.
My tank has like an inch and a half bed of live sand and some live rock( I'm not sure exactly how much) stocked with a maroon clown and 3 types of damsels a yellow a blue and a black/white striped, there's like 8 types of different lps corals 2 snails that live in the sand a red legged hermit 3 emerald crabs and several hundred pinhead size white shelled snails
But I want to switch to a led light fixture for the reduction in electricity used and heat emitted but I'd like a good one I just don't understand how all the specs work on those and where to find a good deal so if any body has any suggestions I would really appreciate it

Heres some pics

I have a red sea max with the stock t5 and 2 12000k/445 blue and 2 magenta/453nm from ecoxotic and let me say there some of the best led I've seen. I would hands down remanned them to any one. But there pricy I think I payed like 200 or more for them.

Ecoxotic panorama pros and stunner strips...im insanely happy with them, and so are the corals!! Pricey but worth it!
