Whats a web type thing In my tank

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

I seen it this morning when I turned the lights on it was like a web on it I couldnt take a pic.
 
Depending on the size, it could be a spionid worm. They cast out mucous nets to catch particles of food. (Look for a small tube or hole in the rock where the net orinignates from. Sometimes you can see them pulling it back in.) If that's what it is, they are not directly harmful to anything, although the net will sometimes irritate the corals it touches.

+1 some are good to have, reduce the nutrients and you will reduce the worms
