My wife and I just got a inexpensive UV sterilizer for our tank. It has a small nozzle on the very top which attaches to a airhose which hangs over the side of the tank ( no air pump ). When on there are thousands of tiny bubbles exiting the out flow nozzle. I have two questions:
1. Why would you need air bubbles in a completely submersible UV sterilizer?
2. Would there be any way to stop or at least decrease the amount of bubbles?
Thanks,
Chuck
