What's my next step

I am currently in my 2nd week of cycle. 50 gals and have about 35 lbs of live rock. What should be my next steps. What source of ammonia should I use? And does the type of light make a difference during the cycle? I have regular fish tank lights ( as shown on pic). When should I upgrade my lights??

Also is throwing a fish in there to keep cycle going a bad idea???

Not tec amended to cycle with fish especially if you have not introduced the ammonia source yet! A cocktail shrimp is a easy source of ammonia!
