what's wrong with my leather

Ok I've had this leather for over a month and it was doing great it would retract its polyps and shrink at night but in the morning he, was back to normal.

3 days ago he never perked back up




Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Ph 8
Temp 78
Kh 10
Calcium was 360 and I doses with reef code a and I still have to check it again

36 gallon
130 watt dual pc with 10k and 460


Edit: I just checked calcium and it is 360 so I added another cap of reef code a

Mine did the same thing not to long ago after a water change...it stayed closed (for lack of better word) for several days. Maybe close to a week... I thought it was a gonner, but then it just started opening up again! Now it looks like it did when i first brought it home. I would give it time...some folks have said that they do that and when they start opening up again they are bigger. If water tests good then I would not panick just yet.

mine shrinks when it gets ready to shed
another thought is I see its on the lower part of your tank
hows your flow and lighting they like moderate flow and lighting
your calcium is also a little low
I keep mine between 450/480

Yeah I am dosing with calcium, decent flow and lighting.
225gph hob
500 and a 550 cir pumps

And dual pc puts off plenty of light on my tank

Yeah it is almost back to normal has some stuff hanging off it guess it was shedding
