I've seen some in-tank fuges that seem like a good option. Also helps in acclimation. Also, seems far easier and cheaper but are their smaller volumes effective?

I'm considering one for my 55 gal. TIA

Even a small-volume fuge will be beneficial to your tank. Bigger would be better of course.

I'd say to go for it.
