Where should I place the air stone and ... ?

Where should I place my new air stone strip about 80cm long for my 80cm long tank? I wanna place it in the back but does it affect the fish or filter or filtration? Cause it's right below it but no air gets sucked in though..

Also, is it stressing to any fish, specially tetras and blue Rams?

It really doesn't matter where you put it - whatever suits your eye will be just fine.

I think if anything it would help filtration. The rising action of the air bubbles would pull debris from the bottom up towards the intake tube. It really doesn't matter where you put it though. Just go what you think looks best.
