I was initially going to do goldfish, but have since decided I probably don't have enough space in my tank. My tank is only small, about 25L. What would be a good number of beginner level tropical fish? I like Blue Rams, are they a good idea? And what would look nice to put with them?

Thanks :)

do you know how many gallons it is?do you know what cycling is?

i guess you could do a betta,or a shrimp tank...thats about it.

A Betta even is better in a ten gallon. Their personality really shines.

I would do a shrimp tank, and post a build thread so I have ideas for when I do my own shrimp tank build.

i know bettas are better in 10 gallons than 5,but atleast a 5 gallon is big enough

Yeah. Five gallons is the minimum, I was just saying that they do better in bigger tanks.

And shrimp tanks are really cool too. And they like plants. So you could do a planted shrimp tank.

yeah,i know 5 gallons is a little on the small side.and i agree that a shrimp tank would be really cool.
