tonight I had a explosion of white colored gunk come out of my new filter, after tearing it apart I found that the tubes that run to and from the tank where full of it. pulled the whole thing apart and did what I could to clean them out with hot water and a very mild Dawn soap (felt greasy)..
Now this has only been up a week or so so its not a long term build up so I'm guessing its left over from when the tubes where made, anyone else have this happen?... sadly while it says to clean the canister and filter foams it said nothing about the tubes
or ideas what it may have been? being in both tubes makes me think its not something from the canister or from the tank
