I've got some tiny white many-armed creatures on my glass. There are hundreds of them, each with a small white center and 3-8 arms or tentacles. They're attached to the glass and don't move, but scrape off very easily with the magnetic cleaner, then promptly come back after about 1/2 hour.

Anyone know what these are, and whether I should be concerned or happy with their presence?

Thanks!

Sounds like jelly hydroids. Is this a newer system? Normally they die out on thier own. I'll try to find a link for you to ID your critter.

Here are the best pictures I can get of them so far. A bit out of focus but you get the idea. They are about 1mm in diameter each.

Looks like hydroids. I wouldn't worry, their numbers will come and go and they are seen alot in newer systems.
