How long will amazon sword last floating in a tank?

My 2 small plants have become dislodged and are now free floating. I won't be able to replant them for a week or two because my hand is in a cast. Will they be fine or should I take them out and put them in a glass of tank water? My options are pretty limited.

Thanks guys!

they might be fine but amazon swords are root feeders so should be planted. if it had a rhyozome or maybe not that much of a root feeder then it'd be fine. they'lll live though

Yep .. get it planted as soon as you can. For now it'll be ok, but Amazon Sword's a root feeder.
