Will i get snails?

I have a 26 gallon and a 20 gallon - the 20 gallon is loaded with pond snails -.- I only had one fish in there so I decided to tear it down (I've been wanting to redo it for a while now) they are all up in the filter and everything. So I put the fish that was in my 20 gallon into my 26 gallon. I was very careful not to get any water from the snail tank in my other tank but I'm worried I might get snails in my 26. I run a canister filter on that one and would hate to have snails in it. Do you think there's a chance I might still get snails?

chances are some snail eggs are already in the canister if the input is big enough for a snail to crawl through. i guess it's better to take everything apart
