Hi all,
I am looking in to going medium light in my 29 gallon
I've been looking at fertilizers. I'm going to get some root tabs, and a pound of both Plantex CSM+B and KH2PO4. I'm wondering, since I have 30 ppm of nitrates in my tap water, would I need to dose KNO3? One of the main reasons I plant my tanks is to absorb some of those nitrates, and so i would think that dosing KNO3 would be somewhat counterintuitive However, I don't want to deprive my plants of nutrients. What do you think?
