HI all! In my 30 gallon I am planning on putting in:
8 Emperor Tetras
2 Bolivian Rams
1 Dwarf Gourami
1 Angelfish
1 BN pleco

I would absolutely love to put in some shrimp. Specifically rcs, but I think my planned stock would eat them. What do you think? I am mainly worried about the rams, gourami, and especially the angel. Should I start out with the cheap ghost shrimp and then if they don't get munched on get some of the more expensive kind?

I would say it is very likely. I toss a dozen or so Ghost shrimp in for my BGK every so often and my Angel gobbles them up also.

RCS are amazing shrimp. Don't forget that you don't need a large tank for a colony of them. You could easily maintain a small tank, say 5 gallons, for them. ;)

Yep, I am making plans to get a 10 gallon with rcs and endlers.

If you do this, make sure the tank is densely planted. I just had to pull all my endlers out of my RCS tank, because they were picking them off at a very fast rate!
