yellow diatoms

I how have yellow diatoms after 3 1/2 weeks of cycling. I' m going to let it run its course. When is a safe time to add a couple clean up crew members? Maybe a shrimp or/and crab.

Has your tank finished cycling? If so then you are good to add a couple of little guys, being a new tank just start small because there won't be much to eat yet. 1-2 then a fish wait a few weeks etc
