What do you guys think about testing a baby blue or yellow tang to put in my 30 gallon tank. And then eventually graduating to like 70 or 90 gallon when he gets to big for it. Whould that be to much stress for the tang when in the 30 gallon? And how fast does one grow?

Yes that would be realt stressful even for a small one. I really wouldnt do it

Yes I agree. I have a yellow tang my self and he grew 2.5 inches in 6 months so yes, stress levels would be significant.

There's a great article out there somewhere, about baby big fish in a small tank for short periods of time. I can't recall where it was, but essentially the conclusion was: Don't. It stunts their growth and sets them up for health problems later.
I want both, btw. Like, really really want both of those tangs. But not in my 55. *le sigh*
