Yoyo loach

I have 2 yoyo loaches, when i got them they were about the same size, now one is getting a little bigger than the other and it looks like his stripes are not as defined. Would this be because he is growing or is there something wrong with him?

Sounds like the bigger one is a female

Ok well i guess i never knew the gender of either one, but would that be normal for it to have fading stripes?

Unless the fish looks sickly or is acting weird then it's just maturing.
