Zuchini and goldfish

Gave this to my goldies for the first time. I blanched it, but probably not enough. I then tied it to a rock to sink it. They tried to tear off pieces but couldn't. I then scored the interior with a knife lengthwise, and then they were able to eat it. I didn't have to score the pieces I but in my Mbuna tank.

You did not say how large the goldfish are so it is hard to tell. I always cut the round slice in half prior to blanching it. It really helps. Also, try blanched peas-They love them

My fancies are 2-3 inches. I have already been doing peas a few times a week.

You don't need to blanch it cut a chunk into 4 quarters and push onto a stainless steel spoon handle to weigh it down leave put in at night leave overnight and next morning it's all been eaten, mine wouldn't touch it at first or peas now they can't wait for it, I walk in with the bowl with it in and they go crazy lol
