I've still got two more 5 gallon buckets that I might add... not sure, I like the way it looks right now more than I have any other way it's looked yet

i like it

where do you get rock can i just get some off the ground an rise them well or what ?

I got them in a creek bed that was covered and slate and he just rinsed them very thorougly. I would be careful where you get them though because if they've been around any chemicals like pesticides (etc.), I wouldn't use them.

Oh and I am jealous of the Nimbochromis!
If you lived close by, you could have them :) I didnt do any research on them before getting them and found out they were not mbuna and get entirely too big for what i'm going for. I was going to get a 6' tank, but plans have changed and I'm not planning any more tanks for a LONG time!

whats your stock list? how many of those beautiful fish do you have swimming around in their?

Current stock:

1 yellow lab- debating on whether to rehome him or get 4-5 females to go with him
1m1fm kenyi- going to get 3-5 more females eventually
1m2fm bumblebees- going to get 2-4 more females
2 unknown sex venustus
3 red zebras. Im sure one is a male, the other two are too young to tell... will eventually have 1m-4-6fm
2 auratus. 1 is a male, the other looks to be a female, but is still pretty young, will eventually have 1m-4-6fm

Im not sure if i plan on getting any other fish (other than the ones mentioned) or not. I guess ill have to wait until i finish my m-fm ratio before I decide for sure.

well, i dont remember the month that I got this tank, but its been 8-10 months since I got it and since the first day, i've struggled to get them the way I want. I knew exactly how I wanted it, but never had enough rocks to do it. I finally get enough rocks, so the mental picture I had just kinda fell in to place.

thats awesome congrats to you im glad you got the rocks to reach your end goal it looks superb! im sure you will enjoy that tank so much! ps love the stock list going to be very colorful and diverse!

What is the length on a 150 gallon tank? I'm figuring on making mine 5'x2'x2' so I'm just curious

Looks great Jonathan!! you did a great job, looks like youve moved too so that prob gave you a lot of chance to get it the way you want it.

yep, moved... it sucked, but im glad I did. Having all the rocks out was both a blessing and torture. it took 8 five and six gallon buckets to move all the rock
