What kind of inverts will go with cichlids? I just re did my tank and I'm really proud of a it when I get a chance I'm Going to take a picture

Most invertebrates would be eaten and even larger inverts like crayfish would try to eat sleeping fish.

Craysfish can last in a cichlid tank for small periods for some people but will molt and eventually be eaten.. alot of cichlids eat inverts in the wild. So its advised not to mix the 2..

I'd be worried about the fish. Crayfish are nocturnal and could attack a sleeping cichlid

If its a bigger fish it wouldnt hurt them only if they are smaller most crays depending on diet dont even attack fish.. mine will go monthes without even harming a snail just depends
