Cichlids in a 26.1 gallon.

Hi I was wondering what kind of cichlids I could have in my 26.1 gallon.

SA or African?

Shell dwellers or rams are a couple options... There may be more but with cichlids for the most part need large tanks

I prefer Central and South American fish so I would recommend something in the Cryptoheros genus such as Nanoluetos, Panamensis ,and Sajica. Then there are the more common fish such as Kribs and Apistos. I don't normally recommend Rams any longer since the stock being offered lately is so overbred and extremely fragile.
