Convict eggs

Hi I've recently added a couple of convicts to my tank, to find a week later they have laid eggs on the side of my filter? What's the best way to go about caring for them??

They should do all the work. Convicts are very good parents

And what about cleaning the tank??

I would just clean as normal just don't suck the eggs up.

Be careful cleaning the tank... They may attack your hand to protect their eggs/fry.

That's what I thought, it's best to leave there little area to them as to not over stress or cause damage!! Once the fry hatch will the parents still protect or do I need to separate?

They should protect at all times

Yes just to confirm, they will protect them until they see them as a threat to their next batch of fry.
