I have yellow labs in my tank. My demosoni seems to be a live and let live fish. He stands his ground but leaves everyone alone if they don't bother him.

I want to find a cheap but healthy young frontosa that I can tame.

Was like 30 bucks for a 1 inch one at petco today. Wow! W inch salvini were 10 bucks and 3 inch Texas cichlid were 1.59! They're all over the place

My fave is the pseudotropheus saulosi. Males and females have great color and personality! Male and female pics sorry its hard to get good ones w phone and camera is at work.

I've only seen them called saulosi lol! They make for a great species only tank too and are dwarf mbuna so don't get too big but definitely hold their own! What I like I they all stry the same yellow and males slowly transform to the blue black stripes.

I agree. We have a Livingston named Jace and he is really the neatest fish. He has such a great personality. His hunting techniques are interesting but effective! He runs our African tank!

This Dovii was my favorite cichlid. I sold him around 4 years ago and the guy that bought him let him die. He was 8" in this pic, I sold him at 10". He was a glass banger, he tried to bite anyone near the tank.. except for me There are some videos of him in my Sig.
