I can't help but I hope you get it corrected as fast as needed to put you at ease. In all honesty I would make sure your filtration is 2x required for the tank. Not so much to clear it, but to ensure that there is enough filtration. As for the NO3 it's not as harmful as everyone wants it to be at 40ppm. The Ammonia even concerns me.
 
Good news

Well good news, the tank is clearing up and fish are much happier (very energetic). :fish2: My readings are still cause for concern, but I think after a few more water changes I can get it cycling right... Or at least I hope so...
