Could be mistaken but I believe all males have spots over the body like that.

It's females that the spots are not as visible.

I think a lot miss them on parts of the head. This one has spots covering almost everywhere.

Some parts don't have speckles like shiny parts while others like my have it very shiny. All males have speckles it depended if their shiny or not.

"Show quality" gets tossed around way to frequently. I guess everyone wants to feel special.

Edit to add: not taking away from this fish or saying you just want to feel special, just a generalization.
