Question about a blasto coral...

this may be impossible to answer but hey...

I bought a blasto colony about 2 weeks ago. It has 19 heads of red fleshy coral goodness. I have it half way in my 55 gallon under a quad t5 lamp and with very low flow where I put it.

So now 3 of the 19 heads just don't open at all and I can see the coral skeleton around the polyps. Any idea why 3 of the 19 would stop opening? I fed them mysis last night and the mouths are working fine but they just don't open up. Should I wait a few days or move it or something? Anyone ever have one do a similar thing?

Check your alkalinity levels. In my experience, when a coral starts to pull tissue back it may mean low alkalinity. There are a host of other reasons it can happen, but this is an easy one to check. Also phosphate levels can keep the polyps closed. Needs to be under .05 IMO. Hope all goes okay.
