What do you guys think about this MH kit?

Also, do you think that I should go with a 48in light kit or 60in. Does the light kit require room on either end for space?

Would I need to buy anything else to hook this up to my tank?

I have a 120gal tank, 5ft long x 2 ft deep. Would two of these lights be enough?

Or, instead of MH bulbs, what about this setup for the same tank.

I was going to run 2x250 with T5 actinics for a 5ft tank. I know a guy that runs 2x400 on a 6ft tank and it does well. Depends on what you want to keep.

With that kit, you would just need to mount it in your canopy. Maybe add some actinics.

I would say the item looks good. I am just diving inot MH. I orded a two light kit 175 for my 48 inch long 55 gal. Should be here Friday!!!! I am kinda jealous though my buy it now price was more on ebay (different company of course). Oh well, you live and learn!!!!

Well, I ended up buying these lights today. I will inform you all about how things go in the next couple of weeks.

Ok, I got these lights in the mail today and I have an observation.....they are FREAKING HUGE!!!!!!!!!

The light itself is about 9in long. The height light from the reflector to the light is about 9in. The width of the reflector is about 18in. Are they supposed to be this big?

I should've asked beforehand, but now I'm going to have to build a much bigger canopy.
