I noticed some tiny cracks in the cheapo plastic/acrylic tank my bettas are in, not all the way through and no leaking. Its just a 5gallon, plain seamless plastic without any extra supporting plastic on the base. I think they have some moldable plastic in the craft store and I'm tempted to mold some around the base to make it stronger. Has anybody done anything like this or made a base for a small tank?

I dunno... i think it would be cheaper just to buy a new tank... what size do you have? I have had a few from walmart and i find they always tend to get scratched up over time, and since they aren't that expensive.. easier just to replace.
