Could I put a breeding pair of kribensis with dwarf puffers?
I use to breed kribensis in this tank and they were with danios etc ... that never got harmed I just wanted to know if dwarf puffers would attack my kribs ?

From all I have read about puffers, they belong in their own tank. They are slow, but they nip other fish mostly at night when the other fish are slower.

In my experience, dwarf puffer nips at everything.

I tried cories, ottos, rubbermouth pleco in a 20 gallon tank.

I tried to introduce them to a community tank, 45 gallons+4 dwarfs puffers+other fishes (ottos, cories, bolivian rams, tetras)=one big mess

Everybody in the tank were nipped.

They can only live by themselves. species tank only... maybe with couple of ottos.

Well after alot of thinking about this situation I have decided to actually try it my lfs said I can return them a.s.a.p if they do go crazy and start attacking each other.

:? I am quite nervous about it lol.

I will keep use updated on the events

I have had good sucess keeping DPs along w/larger cichlids. Never tried smaller ones, but it may work.
