Need help identifying this fish..

One of my buddies just gave me this algae eater and has no clue what it is. I want to know what it is that way i can look up how to take care of it.

Thats a Chinese algae eater (Gyrinocheilus) I like them more than pleco just bc they don't make as big of a mess

Thank you so much for replying so soon. I read that they can get 5-6 inches and well hes 5 inches already so he shouldn't grow much more. I have him in a 40 gallon breeder with a couple of other fish but i think he'll be just fine.
 
What's a Chinese algae eaters minimum tank size?

Also are the aggressive? Or can they be in a community tank?
 
I would put pretty much anything with the name sucker fish in a community personally but I really haven't seen mine exploring a tank at all just skidding around the glass and the sand. I'd still say like 30 ish gallons only because of its length but the more the better!
