Have just got a new 30 gallon tank it is cycled and would like some ideas on adding inexpensive fish, what is an algae eater I can add. I am only adding anubias.

How is it cycled if you just got it today?

I'd move the BN pleco out of your 10 gallon into the 30 gallon. BNs really don't belong in a 10 gallon for the long term.

1. The tank isn't cycled. Your other thread says you bought it today? Correct?

2. What do you like?

3. If I'm correct in thinking the tank is brand spanking new, consider a fishless cycle. It will save you money and stress. I promise.

You could quite easily cycle it by moving the filter over from your 10 gallon tank, along with a small fish load. Of course, this involves tearing down your 10 gallon tank.

Actually, I did move my 10 gallon filter with the 30 gallon filter, after a week I will remove the filter and add some fish, any ideas on what fish I should get??

I already moved it just awhile before, I meant as it was brand new not that I got it today, sorry with the mix up

It's returned already and I'll continue the conversation in October/November.

Best of luck with the new tank, whenever you're able to get it going. :)
