Random question

Can my 2 BN plecos (juveniles, 2 inches max) eat their way through a whole slice of zucchini? I put one in yesterday, this morning it was in two pieces, this evening it is totally gone. I can't find trace of it anywhere. Just wondering if I need to hunt some more or assume its all gone in their bellies!?

I am curious about that my self. They pretty much do nothing but eat and poop, so it's possible. I am no expert though. I say google plecos and read up on their life style and eating habits.

I know that goldfish don't have a stomach so they eat and poop a lot because they can't store food. Maybe plecos are kinda like that.

Could be very likely as I doubt it would decompose that fast.

Oh, yes I have a 2 and1/2 inch bn pleco, he eats a half a slice of zucchini over night, very probable they ate it
