Will loud music hurt or unset my Betta?

Will loud music hurt, upset or agitate my Betta? I just got my stereo amplifier back from the repair shop today, hooked it up & was blasting my music. It then dawned on me that it could harm him. Can they hear the music through the tank walls? And it plays loud. Same speakers they have in the IMax Theaters... Thank You! Bill

Hi Bill, I don't know if your betta would be able to "hear" the music, but it would most likely stress him out because he will feel the vibrations. could you possibly move the tank into a quieter room/place?

Hello 32...

Vibrations from anything that makes a loud noise will travel through water. This can stress your fish. I would keep the noise to a minimum.
