Advice on lighting please

At the moment I have 4x 24w t5 on my fluval 190 corner tank, I have 96wats of light and it's just not enough, I am just about to bid on eBay for a 150 halid light with a 14000K Marine Lux bulb, no t5 blue or led though.Will this halid light be ok or should I go for 2ft arcadia series 3 halid light with 2x blue lights. this is a 250w halid unit and I'm a little worried it might be too much as I don't run a chiller or have any spl just Lps and soft.

120w is not enough? Or is led more intense?

That's enough to keep SPS on the sand bed. You will be turning it down for your LPS and softies.

Mr.X how is your setting on these dimmable fixture? I have the same one and right now i have at 50%blue and 30%white. Most are Lps and soft corals but I will be adding sps in a couple of weeks.

Mine are all the way up, but I have mostly SPS. You will need to "listen" to your tank and adjust as needed.
