Is this Snail Eating my Polyps?

Someone has been eating my Green Button Polyps for weeks.
I can never seem to catch what is eating them in the act.

The only thing in my tank that I think might be the culprit
is this snail.
He hitch hiked in my LR.com shipment and has more than doubled
it's size in 5 months.

The polyps look mowed down. there are not pieces of them. just clean Rock where they were.

I've caught him feasting on a Turbo snail in the past and figured
it was just cleaning up the carcass.

Anyone have a clue what type of snail this is and if it's
a predator? he is covered in some sort of hair Algea

BTW: it's not my Coral Beauty, I just added her last week and
so far she doesn’t touch the Corals

Hard to see what kind of snail that is. It appears to be covered in algae .

You can see the markings on the shell, also his body has polka dots all over it, He mostly is active durring the night.

Maybe that helps.

I cant think of anything in the tank that could be doing this, certainly nothing I added on purpose.

About halfway down is a checkerboard snail (Heliacus sp) that is a preditory snail that will eat polyps.

The markings are similar but the one in my tank is not as circular and is more
cylnder shaped. Maybe mine is bigger.

I come home from work to find this guy munching on a Turbo Snail.

I am thinking he attacked it as it's not the first time I have seen him eating one.
maybe the turbo died on his own but this looks fishy

I think this snail is gonna get tossed

...if he's eating a Turbo snail you know that this snail is carnivorous at least. Even if he didn't kill the Turbo himself, a carnivorous snail is something to maybe be concerned about.
