New canopy for 55 gal tank

So I just started a new canopy for my 55 gal tank and a few pics

All done for the day time to bring it home and test fit it

I got to adjust a few things on it then fig out the finish I'm putting on it

So here it is all fitted and cut down to a hight the wife is happy with lol. All that is left is to put a top on it and have my buddy paint a ocean scene on it (I think not sure yet if that is what I want painted on it) so what do u all think

Looks great! Personally, I think an ocean scene would compete with your tank too much. But it depends on how it's done I suppose. I'm not big on those scenes people put at the back of their tanks either.

Yea the scene is kinda up in the air about what to do case I can't make it match my stand o I'm looking to people on here for ideas on what would look good.

Possibly have the bottom of the hood be the water line then do a cool sunset so it looks like your half in the water an half out

That's nice. I had pictured an underwater scene. But I like that pic.

I'm not going to paint the back of the tank it's mirrored back and it's kinda nice that way.
