1 larger school vs 2 smaller schools?

In short, would you recommend 1 large school or 2 smaller schools like stated.

However if you want to read the long way, I was considering stocking a 75 gallon planted tank with:

20 Amano Shrimp
15 Black Phantom Tetras or Black Skirt Tetras (whichever looks better once I spend more time at the LFS)
15 Cardinal Tetras
10 Bronze Corydoras (might do half Albino, could be interesting)
Possibly 1 Dwarf Gourami
and start with a colony of probably 6 or 12 Cherry Shrimp

So I was wondering, should I keep one school larger school of possible 20-30 Cardinals or Black Phantom Tetras or 15 of each?

Im a sucker for a large school of cardinals so Im going to have to say large group of cardinals.

I like black phantoms so I would have to vote a large school of those

I was thinking a larger school would be pretty sick too. 1 larger school it is!

Now I just have to pick what my school will be of.. Haha I will figure it out. Thanks guys!
