You can find mixed advice everywhere on the net. The key thing is to compare multiple points of view and reach your own conclusions as to what is correct.

We all wish you the best and most of us wouldn’t know how to advise since most of us wouldn’t attempt to house that fish. I’ve seen it offered many times at my lfs and even when I had my 180 I looked the other way.

As a juvenile I think it will do fine in your tank but as it matures it will become quite aggressive and even harass your non-tangs.

Well, the clown tang died tonite.
I'm really pissed about it. All of my fish are years old except for my clown goby.

Its my own fault for not researching before but I'm mad that my LFS traded me it knowing its history of being hard to keep, size and agression.

Why not just be up front with it? Bad business! I'm not purchasing poop from them anymore. I'll give frags away before trading with them again.
