Well going off of Carey's advice, I dropped $75 (with free shipping) on this Ebay ro-di unit.

I have to say, what a great purchase experience and amazing unit. I paid the eBay seller at 3pm on Wednesday and received it the following day. I hooked it up and ran it for 45min minutes to rinse the unit, and my first TDS test was in fact 0 ppm. This unit makes water amazingly fast (150 gallons a day), was a breeze to hook up, and only $75 (wow). My old ro unit never went below 11 ppm. Thanks Carey for the great advice, again.
